How do I know the table or spoilboard isn’t flat?
One corner of the part is thin and the opposite corner still has tabs. A straightedge rocks on the board. Paper slides under one end only. If two of those are true, flatten before the next paid run.

The table is the iron. The spoilboard is the sacrificial sheet on top of it. Face the board first. Flatten the iron only if the bed itself is out. See table flattening and why the table is lying.
Tram is the spindle sitting square to the table. If you flatten a cocked spindle, you copy the lean onto the board. Fix tram, then face the spoilboard. How to flatten a CNC spoilboard walks through that order.
